Day 1: Arrive HCMC

A driver will meet you on arrival at the international airport and transfer you to your hotel in exciting district one area of Ho Chi Minh.

Overnight in HCMC

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Can Tho - Tra On – Chau Doc (L/D)

0600h - Pick up from hotel in Ho Chi Minh and transfer by air conditioned vehicle to Can Tho.

1000h - Arrival Mekong Delta and board your private Mien Tay Sampan (Emotion Cruises) to start exploring the lush vegetation of the Mekong Delta and the lively Can Tho floating market.. Return to the Mien Tay Sampan and enjoy lunch on board while you cruise through zig zag canals and travel along the river to Can Tho via Cho Lach.

Interact with friendly people and meet with groups of smiling children before continuing to cruise to Tra On. Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the river while you cruise leisurely up the Mekong enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Dinner and night overnight on board Mien Tay Sampan in Tra On.

Day 3: Disembark Mien Tay Sampan – Speedboat Chau Doc - Phnom Penh (B/L)

0600h Early Breakfast. 0700h - Check out Mien Tay Sampan and board HÀNG CHÂU speedboat for transfer from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh.

On arrival you will transfer to your hotel in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. A visit to Phnom Penh is a very interesting experience indeed as it is a city with an interesting pulse and it gives you a true taste of Asia. You will visit the Wats Phnom, National museum, Silver Pagoda and Royal Palace.

Day 4: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B/L)

0900h – Your driver and guide will meet you at the hotel and you will depart on your road journey to Siem Reap in a private air conditioned vehicle.

1500h – Arrive Siem Reap and check in to your hotel where you will overnight.

Day 5: Seam Reap - Angkor Wat Temple (B/L)

After breakfast is a visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians, to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five towers symbolize Meru's five peaks and the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world. The surrounding moat is to represent the ocean beyond.

Lunch will be in a local restaurant and in the afternoon, visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century). See the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara). Dinner is at a local restaurant where you will be entertained with a traditional Khmer folk performance of Apsara. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 6: Seam Reap – Luang Prabang (B)

Free time until the driver will pick you up from the hotel to international airport.

Arrival to Luang Prabang check in to the hotel and over night at the hotel .

Day 7: Luang Prabang Day tour (B)

0800h – After meeting with your guide at the hotel, you will enjoy a short-guided tour to the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene. You will also visit the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, built to traditional style, the low sweeping roof represents classical Laotian architecture.

Next is a cruise upstream on the Mekong River which gives you a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as time to explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. They are two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine.

On the return journey, you will travel a short distance to Ban Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving.

Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 8: Luang Prabang – Vientiane (B)

Free time until the driver will pick you up from the hotel to the airport .

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Vientiene is a fascinating capital, with a fusion of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and American influences. This charming and easygoing city will provide a smooth introduction to Laos. After a short rest, an orientation walk of the Lao Capital is a pleasant way to spend the day, strolling around some of the city’s most historical sites and seeing some of the French colonial architecture.

Day 9: Departure Day (B)

0845h - Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport where you will board the 1145h flight to HCMC.
